Who does the best tinting job on Commodores?

Hi guys,

Just checking in. I want to get my windows tinted. I want them darkest legal tint.... near black.

My commodore is white, so the blacker the windows the better.

Can you help? Who should i steer clear of?

I had mine done recently with tint-a-car on special for $295. Midnight Express which is 35% and supposed to be the darkest legal tint. Had a few problems when they tried applying mine, which took them 3 goes. In the end I'm pretty happy with it and it looks quite dark.

apparently, my mate just got his wagon done 35% front and 20% in the rear. may depend on state

How much do they charge to remove the old tint ?

Commercial vehicles can have darker tint on rears but still limited.. private cars are limited to a standard all round (to my knowledge but doesn't mean they won't do it) removal of tint can be anywhere from $50 and up.. it would be case by case, kinda like the length of a piece of string theory

hey dude i'm a tinter, dont go to tint mart. they'll charge you a shitload! ( i should know, i work at tint mart) but the place i use to work for is sooo much better. i can give you the guys number if you want. he lives at northlakes so if you live near there he can help you out...it'll be the same shit as tint mart use but as dark as you want and he'll only charge you around 250 not 395, plus he does a better job. just pm me if you want his number.

35% is the darkest legal tint. That means it only lets in 35% of light and 20% will only let in 20% of light, basically the lower you go the darker the tint and the lower the amount of light is let in.

I had mine done by a sandgate tinting business as a cashjob.
He charged me $240 to do all my windows 5% and prefers doing cash jobs.
That was over a year ago and I havent had any problems whatso ever.
If anyone is interested im happy to pm the name of the business.
