K&N Filter - Oil?

Hey,
i thought i saw a thread on this a while back but couldnt find it with search, so...
i have a k&n panel filter in my vs with the s/c cai and i went on a dirt road for a few hours on the weekend, so i cleaned it today. (i used kerosene.. same as i use for my motocross bike, i though if its the best for my bike's filter it has to be fine for the car)
so i cleaned it, all good. just wondering if i have to oil it again or not?
I dont see alot of water getting in there easily.
What do you guys do?

yer, if u cleaned it, it'll be white. oil there to catch dust and bead water off...

K&N cleaning kit is avail through pretty much all part stores...

Mate, you need to buy the recharge Kit, it comes with the cleaning fluid and oil to
"Re Charge" your filter!! It needs some proper oil on it or tiny dust particles will get through and be detrimental to your engine!! Do it ASAP!!

yeah, u can buy them separate or as a pack. think the pack is 25 bucks, and it's cleaner and oil....
