Hi All,
I am the executor of my ex-wife's estate and part of that is an '03 cab/ chassis ute with the extended Comtruk tray and sliding canopy. I believe it is classed as a one- tonner. It has just over 48,000 km on the clock.
It has also been lowered by Pedders and has the factory mags with low profile tyes. I have Pedders paperwork. I also have all of the original springs, blocks etc so I can restore it back to one ton condition. I just need the wheels to do this. In it's current trim, the tiedown bars under the tray do rub the tyres with (not much of) a load on. The door mirrors have been replaced with those big flat mirrors on black arms that you usually see on 4wds. It also has a factory towbar. My ex was the second owner having only done 10000km in the 14 months that she owned it. Prior to that it was a work vehicle for a university maintenance dept. I have the original log books.
As much as I wouldn't mind keeping it, I do have to sell it as I cant afford it, and there are estate bills to pay.
Questions: What is it worth?
Is it better to sell it lowered or buy the wheels and restore it to factory?
Which option above would give me the greater profit?
Should I sell the spare suspension set (whichever way I go) with the car, or just ebay it?

Please understand that at the moment the rego is lapsed and I need to get the transfer into my name done yet. This is a genuine request for your opinions, and the car WILL be up for sale, probably in about a month's time.
AT THE MOMENT I DO NOT WISH TO BE SWAMPPED WITH OFFERS TO BUY THE CAR. THIS IS ONLY A FISHING TRIP SO THAT I CAN DETERMINE A FAIR AND REASONABLE PRICE FOR THE CAR. WHEN I AM READY TO SELL THE CAR I WILL START A NEW THREAD.

Thankyou.
