Default Drying a very damp boot.

    Hi,
There is a leak somewhere in my boot. Everything is all rank and damp. I left paper, hay, towels and a heap of other stuff in there for ages and now it's all mouldy.
Apart from using a hair dryer or the sun, has anyone any good ideas about drying the boot?
    Cheers

The VS boot carpets are removable -the wall carpet just pop all the plastic plugs off plus the shock covers and with the floor carpet i think it may be tucked in under the mounting joints of the middle fold down seat you may need to remove the bottom bench and loosen up the bolts or just yank the carpet out from under it.

There's also a thread on how to fix that leak on this forum... A quick search should turn it up. It's not a very big job, but if you don't have the time to fix it then it'll cost you around $50 for each quarter panel window.

I would've just pulled the carpets out, dried the boot floor with paper towels, and then left the carpets out to dry in the sun.

    It's not that hard
