    Default Bridgestone Potenza RE001

Had a set of Bridgestone Potenza RE001 Adrenalins fitted about 3 months ago and it looks like I've had two left hand tyres fitted to the rear of my SS!
Just in case I am a complete moron, can anybody here confirm this? Sorry about the photos but my garage is dark and I'm a crappy photographer!

They're an asymmetrical tyre, I assume they work both ways around. I know my tyres are asymmetrical, and they are all the same tread - just flipped around for the other side. They don't do a "left" and "right" tread.

Look at the direction of the grooves towards the outer edge of the tyres. They're not a mirror image. They're running in different directions.

Then you're missing something. They don't have Rotation with an arrow but they have "OUTSIDE" stamped on them. If you look closely at the outer edges of each tyre you notice that the diagonal grooves don't mirror each other where as at the front, the tyres are 100% mirror image of each other. This leads me to believe that they are in fact made as left and rights and that I have 3 lefts and 1 right fitted.

pretty sure they have an 'OUTSIDE' on the tyre. i reckon the tyre shop fitted a tyre back to front on the rim.

Your 4 tyres should have 'Outside' visible. If any of them do not have 'Outside' visible on the side wall of the tyre, then the tyre has been mounted incorrectly on the rim.

that's how RE001 are, they are all the same, there's no left or right tyres. They are asymmetrical but non-directional - as long as you fit the tyre with the "OUTSIDE" on the outside you can rotate the wheels however you want.

When your looking at the front tyres you are looking at them in the same direction (rearward).
In those photos you are looking at the front (rearward) and the rear (forward). Of course they are going to appear different. The treads ARE fitted the same your just looking at them differently.

He's looking at the rear left and rear right, both from the rear. That's just how they are. Despite the directional look of the tread they work equally well in both directions.

    They look ok, mate.

I understand what you mean; had a look at the Bridgestone web site to be sure. There's plenty of images; yours are fitted correctly.
