cant afford and dont have the time to get a tip welded up atm, coz id have to shortern the pipe, get new mounts welded etc etc.
Would the use of exhaust cement be ok for holding the tip on for while? I cant clamp it as it is not flared or slotted to be able to close around a pipe
Two basic questions: Will the exhaust cement hold? theres atleast 4 inches of pipe within the tip
the other is the issue of removing the tip once i find money and time to weld it up, simple or difficult? or is it an issue i should leave to the exhaust shop to figure out?
Any help would be great, coz 2.5inch to double 3.5inch so to good to have laying round the house :P
I wouldn't do it. Dude honestly, if any shop charges you more than say $50 MAX to weld a tip on, they are stooging you.
