What's the story when you want to buy a car interstate that's unregistered?

I have found one in qld I like and need to get it back to nsw

Is getting the car freighted the only option?

Found out you can get an unregistered vehicle permit to drive it back to your house unregistered.

What about modified cars when getting rego in nsw?
Will there be issues with a factory supercharged vt sedan?

what if its like an unroadworthy car? do you have to provide a roady to get the permit?

I've never bought a vehicle without at lease some form of proof that it is in a road worthy condition.. With your other questions I would call up your Local Registration Authority and ask all the question in the world.. As at least it'll be coming from the horse's mouth (so to speak)

I personally wouldn't touch it. Unregistered, super charged. I'm sure the pants haven't been thrashed out of it.
