    Default Commodore Sports

    Hello,

In the mid 1990s a mob with two dealerships in Sydney - one in Windsor (not sure if there were others) developed high powered Commodores around say 300kw. They were well ahead in the power stakes and looked the goods.

Does anyone remember who they were?

    Cheers

WGR did a run of modded Commodores in the mid 90's thru Sydney dealers...aparently to help finance his race team

dunno about 300kw though.. good 304 EFIs were only getting 200kw max from the factory at the time...

meantime in vic, the dealers did this

Smitty...with the VE SSv SII Sportswagon, VK race car and... Kwaka ZX12R

Only know of WGR or Corsa (known as CSV)

Both were VR/S models (CSV continued past VS, havn't seen a VT onwards WGR tho)

Later CSVs were up around 300kw, but thats with the LS1, i don't know of any 5Ls that got that high in power.
