    Default what is better a V8 or a supercharged v6

    hey. im not sure too much about them.. but what would be better. a v8 or a supercharged v6. . what runs better and does one use more fuel than the other..and so on...

    Assuming we are talking about the LS1 and newer, the V8 is better in every way except fuel economy.

    their both good engines but what are you after?
    power? reliability and also what v8s the 304 or LSx series?

    Another vague question. Different V8/Super6 engines have different power readouts (that is assuming we are referring to power when you say better)

    Simple - A sc buick or similar will need some serious boost and be a pig to drive to get anywhere near the performance of a mild V8. Been proven over and over - V8 is best.

    Buy a Chev small block powered Triumph road bike. Those things are weapons. Saw one the other day, some big old bloke riding it. You could see the torque cutting the air almost haha.
