im asking for peoples opinion on venetian blinds for cars? yes or no on cars or stay at home on the windows? who has or who wouldn't be seen dead with them? im leaning towards yes......
no way!!! lol look shit imo
thanks fuzzy......white or black?
I dunno really, mate has it on his car. I just can't pick either way really but generally speaking no.
Friend paid a bucket load for his one though.
only if you want it too look like a grandpa or grandma car lol
depends on the car really,
i personaly genrally dont like them and much preffer tint, more pratical and gets rid of that feeling someone is watching you from behind
although i did have louvers on my grampa spec vl but that because it was free and suited the theme![]()

no offence, but when ever i see a car with them im i think "OLD PERSON!!!" and if they have p plates up, "LAME, you need to get around to taking them OFF!"
but ur the one that will be driving it, if u love em, go for it![]()
go for it, I have them in black, save the white for the VL's, for some reason they look good on VL or the H series holdens.
yo, red_vb...I can get them for you, no dramas.
You put you left foot in, your put your right foot in , you take your left foot out and you slide it all about!
they sometimes suit the car and sometimes dont, i got them in my vn and reckon they suit it

I've got a black external louvre, were really popular on the older Holdens but are rarer now, I luv them. Personally I'm not into the white venetians.
'Ah well, I suppose it had to come to this.'
thanks all, i was thinking white as it stands out on red but as vl berlina typed im not sure if i could handle doing a blind check seeing the white (the looking over your shoulder feeling) so maybe black is the go. i need another bracket welded to hold the headrest.
*or what do people think of the outside ones the original plastic ones?
Yuuuukkk. Venetians may be granpa but look stylish in the older cars, the plastic ones never looked good on any car and you always have a dirty window as you cant clean it properly. At least with venetians you dont have to clean the inside of the rear window unless you are a smoker in the car and get that film on it.
Must have`s for over 60`s...hemroid cream and a house blind on the back window of their car, a screen door windsreen protector is a nice touch to![]()
on the older style cars I think they look pretty good. But for your car red_vb i would say black, as it goes better with the red.
If you had white all your attention would be drawn to the visor and not the car.
thats my opinion anyways.
Put a black "Aunger" style rear louvre on it. I wash my VY about once a week and it's easy to remove in order to wash the rear window. I give it a coat of armour all to keep it shiny and the car stays cooler. Not to mention that if you have tinted windows it makes it darker inside and therefore more difficult for people to see inside the car.

Yeah its a case of test it to find out. Ive seen them on some cars and thought "wow thats horrid" but then I have seen them on cars and thought it has really suited. Get someone to photoshop something up for you.
I think they suit the older cars more, the VK's and VL's I like them on, I rekon they look horrible on the VN/P/R/S.
I rekon if you got some black ones theyd suit. White might stand out to much and look to dominate, you dont want them to be the main focus point. Black will look subtle and look nice.
^^ Spot on I was just about to say the same.
