Well my car has been playing up more and more lately so I've been searching for a new car.
I came across this one and for 15 grand that seems like really good value, I don't mind about it being non turbo-ed and automatic because I'm still on my green P's.
What do you guys think about it? I'm really keen on it.

Im abit sus on this car?
Be very careful when buying an import,Get a pre purchase inspection done.Secondly if that triptronic transmission lets go be prepared to fork out close $4000 in overhaul, or good luck finding another tranny second hand in good condition.Secondly most imports have their speedos wound back,This vechile looks like it was maybe a turbo at some stage and they might have slapped a cheap non turbo driveline in there? What makes me think that is? recaro seats, strut brace, body mods it looks like an ex jap drift car.
Just go over the car as much as you can and write down compliance and vin numbers to make sure the codes match the current driveline and features.
Id personally stay away from it as insurance will be high and so will maintainence costs.
Your better off getting a vr,vr senator or clubby bud.
Our aussie cars outdo the ricers anyday.
I would tend to steer clear of modified jap cars (or any car for that matter) for the sole reason that they have probably been regularly flogged.
I disagree about it possibly being turbo'd. Those are the kind of mods you will find on pretty much all skylines these days.
Finally, *insert comment here about the commodores you could buy for that money*

spend 10 bucks on glad wrap and while they sleep, wrap there doors up and turn off there alarm for work then wake them up a few hours late and watch then run around getting ready for work then they find there car glad wraped lol
Id be wary of a car that has just been freshly imported. Make sure you get it look over very thoroughly. Get the dealer to let you take it to a mechanic and let them put it on a hoist because there are just far to many horror stories out there from fresh off the boat imports.
I rekon it is a tad expensive though for a non turbo skyline though.
Great advice there guys, i was going to go have a test drive and probably buy it but now i know what to look at if i even go look at it. And Philthy your right for 15 grand i could get a dam good vz sv6 or calais and it would be a shit load more spacious.
I spose the main thing that interests me in imports is the body kits on them, idk what it is but i love them.
Cheers again for the info fellas ill keep searching for the right car![]()
