Pit dramas
So i have to take my car over the pits (insurance company is making me because of mods etc.)
Everything is legal as far as i know, except for my tint.
Is there any less strict pits in w.a?
Also is that silver/black tint legal?

You are gunna get done for it unless you know someone, so just get the right tint.

I'd say whole car. Peel the tint and just get standard legal.
When I took my car over for a manual conversion change over, all they checked was the actual conversion stuff to see if it was fitted properly...
I had the wrong load rated tyres on.. and the guy said if he was doing a full check that it would'nt have passed because of the tyres..
I would say that they will only check whats on the list from the insurance as the have NO reason to check anything else...
your only getting the approval for the parts you have added to the car.

I think you will be in and out after a db test on the exhaust. Try your luck, if they pick it, THEN spend the dollars to get it taken off.

can u tell us what insurance company?
when i was with the rac for my vt, i had $5000 worth of audio stuff, extractors and sports exhaust, they didnt care about the exhaust and they just insured my stereo with 19's.So i cant see why they are doing this to you.
second that, Im with rac, have a VX clubby insured with them at the moment.
extras are 20' mags, custem VZ flutes in guards, Ultra low suspension (legal), full sports exhaust, stereo.... all insured along with the car, did'nt have to do anything, just told them what I had on it... no questions asked, all insured.
What mods do U have that they want you to go over the pits for???? very unusuall
