    Default E85 Fuel Back in SA !

    Stumbled across this the other night





    At only 99cents per litre its cheaper than Enffue ever was. and its pretty convienient for me to get

    Now to get some bigger injectors...

    yeah i dare say a fair few will pop up, only at the new United's though as the E85 has to be stored in brand new tanks.

    Its good, you can make good power but new fuel pump and injectors and new tune to get the best out of it with a modified car.

    It might cost less but you use more of it " from memory about 30% more " so its much of a muchness.

    Just use premium.

    Whats the octane rating on the e85 if premium 98 is 98 octane whats the e85 around 104?
    Whats it worth at the treads 5kws? new tune?

    rated at 105, but its more like 110, new tune is needed definetly.

    I gained 10rwkw bolt on, but heaps of torque through out the rev range. Was worth it for me. The fuel is best suited for FI

    I will run E85 when a few more United servos stock it. I use premium 100 now which is pretty decent stuff, but not as good as e85. Used to run e85 before my car had the turbo, so I cant wait to see what sort of gains will be had
