they look a little like the vx gts wheels.

you'd be safe with putting those wheels on a VT since they are holden originals why didnt you ask them?

Yeah they arent a Holden rim. Theyre a very common rim, a couple of different manufactors have similar styles.

BSA (Model: 291) make them, but not in 18's.

ANZ makes them to, they are called Tycoon The Tyre Factory and they come in 18's.

...and im positive ive seen them at Bob Janes.

thanks guys. Yeah i know, thought they were genuine but there not. i went to put them on the car to see what they looked like but i cant do the wheel nuts up tight enough coz the "wheel nut/jack thing" wont fit (been sitting here for ages trying to think of what its called. drawn a blank!). Do i have to get different nuts or what n where??? sorry for the amatureness but these are my first mags.

    The tyre iron wont fit?

Are you sure theyre to suit a Commodore and not a Falcon? Does the wheel go onto the studs fine?

See if you can take a trip down to a tyre place. They should be able to chuck them on for you and point you in the direction of the correct sizing tyre iron.

    Thanks for the help guys
Yeah well i gotta get two tyres so i might get them to do it. The wheels fit fine on the studs and the nuts fit the studs and even screw on but I can only get them finger tight coz i'm putting them on with my hands, no tyre iron. if i put the tyre iron in the holes and on the nuts it wont turn coz the tyre iron doesn't fit the hole (and it scraps the sides. i know i frikn tried one!).
So is there a different size nut and tyre iron i can use, or should i just be patient and wait till i get tyres put on and balanced? Will it cost me much for the nuts??

A basic set of nuts wont cost anymore than 20-50 bucks. I would suspect however its not the actual nuts but the tyre iron that your using. I would just take it to the tyre joint and ask them. They would run into this same situation countless times a day so hopefully theyll be of some assistance.

If you're using a factory tire iron, there's a chance it is the wrong size for the aftermarket wheels. My factory tire iron won't fit into the nut holes at all.
Best bet is to pick one up from Repco/Autopro/any good car place and use that. Keep that in the boot as well, as if you have a flat, you'll need to remove the mags and the factory tire iron won't fit.
Hope that made sense, I'm zoning out after work.
