    $12,000 baahahhaa!

Yes i know some people pay that much, but i'd shop around for others. You should get one for $4,000-5,000

Wow, thats expensive, if you want a mint job that you'll be happy with looking at it in the sun then take it to a professional car painter, otherwise if you do it yourself you'll want to start off with something small to paint and get the feel for it.

k.. i want to do it my self so i have more money to spend on the car.. that was valley smash where i got that quote.. and about 1500 to sandblast it.. i was thinking of getting it sodablasted and primed then just paint it my self.. so just go to the tip or wreckers and that and just get a sh!t door or boot and paint it... how should i do it though.. should i take off the doors or leave them on, engine bay, undercarrage???

    depends on a few things.

How good you want it? do you want to neaten the car up a touch, or make it look really nice?

If you just want to neaten it up do a closed doors job on it, leave the doors on basically and well yeah, you can work it out, otherwise if you intend to do the door jambs and engine bay, obviously these need to come off too.

You have to strip almost everything else off, so you may as well do the door jambs at least.

If your going for a color change, you will need to strip everything off too.

thats the best I can do for you, but im not a sprayer.

thanks. i dont really feel like taking out the engine right now so i might just take off the doors and paint the engine next time the engine is out.

    thanks
