anyone know where i can get a cheap rwc? not looking for a dodgy one. just a place to do them cheap cause I'm only here on vacation lol

I just got mine done at kambah auto and muffler place. cost about $50. and if you fail first time its only about $13 for the second attempt

everysingle place charges the same or should be with their registration with the RTA, a rwc is a rwc unless your car is dodgy and you need some one to turn a blind eye it doesn't matter where you go

yeh they should be the same maybe give or take like 10 bucks and not many inspectos will turn a blind eye unless you know them or do something in return. infact i only think they will do it if you know them and its not major say bald tyre or small oil leak or some bullfvck

Yeah, as I said not really looking for a dodgy. Just somewhere some people can recommend. Never got a rwc before so didnt really know how they go. but yeh will most probably go to the one in Kambah.

Tires are fine, no oil leaks. Brakes are fine. Although I can never get them to lock lol but I will flush and bleed my brakes before going in for rwc anyway. I think there may just be a leak in the exhaust. Otherwise should be alright. Suspension has no creaks or anything. hopefully nothing broken down there.

yeh i have heard above board is good with commys espicialy vl's?
just mae sure your exhaust leak isnt bad, if it hasnt dropped oil by the time they have checked it i think it will be fine?

Oh well maybe its not an exhaust leak then. lol No oil. I just meant it might have been rusted out but it doesnt seem like it is. So hopefully all will be fine. Changing oil and coolant this week and getting rwc next week

I always take my car to Aboveboard, although they aren't gonna do dodgy, they lost their stamp a while ago, but have it back now. I got mine there, however they arent as strict as Dickson pits, wow that was a mistake >.<

Took the car to harrys today..

Not as bad as I thought. I failed for the dumbest things (dumb on my part) lol

No side repeater (the ones on the guard)
exhaust unsecure (although he wrote insecure so my exhaust might be feeling bad LOL)
hand brake lever is slack
front mudguards not on

and one I didnt notice that my front left tire is starting to wear out

Indeed. getting permit first tomorrow then doing whats needed. Hopefully re test on monday. (shop said I dont need to pay for retest and the first test was 50$ how good is that!) then rego right away. I'm leaving for Manila next next week and wont be back till december but need some rego on car so GF can move it around lol

Big sigh of relief though. Was scared I would need to do so much and not get rego in time lol

Lol so we had that permit on the car and were buming around on friday! then it cut out and stopped running seems the CAS shat itself it runs fine if u put water on the CAS (Mechanic told us to do so) replacing it on monday

Thanks to Blown355 for giving me tips to get it going again.

However I think it became too hot and the car is now kaput. Tried starting it today (sunday) to no avail. K3zbang tried and it fired for 30 secs, then it died again. When I tried today it stayed on for 5 seconds then died. lol
