eyy got a VX S2 V6 acclaim and just got a stock system on there now... want something loud but doesnt drone.... although i want something that can be heard from a mile away.. i want a decent note while idol and a grunt and very loud tone off idol.... helpp please ? been quoted round 260 - 360 for the 2 1/2 catback system with tailpipe straight 2 the end.. n then got 2 1/2 inch twin dump tip.

No, seriously, you won't get what you are looking for with a v6. Loud V6's will sound shit and drone like theres no tomorrow

mmm... iv also been told redback catback.... doesnt drone but gives a nice tone when i take off... also apparently gives it 8+kw haha plus saves a bit of juice on highways... not wanting it for that but anyways..... they are a bit more.. but im stuck on wat to do..

Depends what muffler setup you go with. Its pretty simple with the V6, you can have either lots of noise with drone, or no drone and not as much noise.

hmm so theres no in between... also is ur next meet up on friday?? i might pop down seeing how im only situated on heatherton road.... iv been told 2 run one muffler i think it is and then a tailpipe straight to the end...... lots of noise and lots of drone.... but will that happen even when im idoling?

I recommend the Redback systems, I have one on my VX and it gives out a great note, with no drone and it's not over the top loud. I also get better fuel economy.
