    does anyone know the specs on my V8 5 speed the engine number starts with VT . just wondering because i have more power than my mate who also has a V8 in his commodore ?

    VT suffix means its a late 80,s aprox 83/85 VH/VK block.. eather LV2 or L31
    L31 - Engine - V8, 5.0-litre H/Comp...LV2 - Engine - V8, 4.9-litre H/Comp. (VK)
