hey guys.
just got some vx gts 17" mags coming in. now i think the vn executive came out with 14" inch stocks, i shud be fine ay? i know the restriciton is no more than 2" from stock wheels. i just dont wana get defected cause then going thru regency is gona be death.
check the tyre placard. There should be 14 inch listed on there. On SOME VN's there will be 15's listed. If theres 15s there you will have no probs
from what my local cop has said your pretty much screwed.
theres no longer a 2"rule, instead its a tyre plackard weight ratio thing that u ask one cop hell say one thing, ask the next cop and they will say another.
The word from my mates in the traffic unit is dont go over 1" bigger or they will stick you, and sticking you is just an excuse to dig deeper to find more defects even if they have to be creative.
i got a VR that came with 16s, we dont know if it came with 15 or 16 but 17 is the safest traffic div said that they wont pick on me for.
On top of it all u do NOT want their attention, slapping bigass rims on it, even if it conforms to the new laws legally, they will find something else to defect or send u to regency anyway to 'let them decide' all of which will be on your time and money.
avoid the hassle.
What the **** does this have to do with cruises?
Sick to death of people posting this crap in cruise sections.

depends what state you are in.
In Qld there is no limits on rim diameter, providing the outer rolling diameter of the wheel is within a certain tolerance of the manufacturers specified wheel.
i didnt think the 2" law still existed any more as long as you dont change the rolling raidius of the wheels you should be sweet
