Default V8 ignition coil on daewoo 4cly?

My mate needs to replace his ignition coil on his daewoo, and I have a spare one from the 304. Would my coil suffice as a replacement for his, or is it just going to fry his ignition system?

That's my general feelings towards the situation too, but it's his pride and joy haha. Does anybody know?

no it wont if his daewoo has a dizzy

if it has not then it is not compatible

if you put it on then upgrade leads and plugs points might go faster

WTF? is plugs points??? if you mean plugs and points its highly unlikely to have points as that 70's tech right there. Why bother anyway unless it needs them its a daewoo theyre not race cars...
