how to take springs out of vr with irs

Jack the car up and pull them out , compress them if you have to

Jack the body up, undo lower shock mount, make sure hand brake is off, pop them out.

yup.. after you jack up the car and take the wheels off, put another jack under the bottom of the shock and jack it up a bit, remove the bolt and pull the shock sideways so it comes out of the mount, then do the same on the other side. handbrake off, in neautral and see if you can press down on the hub and pull the springs out, if not you'll have to compress the springs to get them out. depending on the new springs your putting in, you might not have to compress them, eg. ultra lows.
