you can get larger calipers but your better off doing a complete package from calipers to rotors to even maybe master cylinder..

the biggest part in braking is getting rid of the heat.. when the brakes get hot the friction is reduced lowering the brakes effect

that's very right but some times suddenly you face something and need to stop immediately then what to do????

even on slow speed caprice brake is insufficient compared with Honda accord brake (as example)

Your Caprice probably weighs at least 500kg
    more than a Honda Accord.
It is also a luxo barge never designed to
    stop like a race car.
You must therefore alter your driving style to
suite. That my friend is the cheapest and best
    advice I can give you.
    I'm not afraid.

so I'd like to modify my brake system

ceramic would cause more wear and tear on the disc , more stopping power but smaller lifespan. you can buy hardened brake discs to compliment the ceramics, im running harderned vt front discs and after 2 years or so of wear its hardly worn down

Not sure where you are getting your figures but you're probably getting it confused with the base model Commodore (small wheelbase, no features). The Holden Caprice over here is 1928Kg...

I dont mean to sound rude, but you own a $72,000 car and you dont want to spend money on the brakes.

    Why?
