sound deadening mat

i had to rip up the sound deadening mat on the chassis of the car because the car flooded.

underneath the sound deadening mat was more underlay, that had to be dried.

when i ripped up the sound deadening mat, it crumbled to peices.

my question is where can i buy more of this sound deadening mat ? so i can replace the parts i had to tear up ??

you can buy dynamate from car audio shops mate, can also order online and will be cheaper online

Or buy Flashtac from bunnings, it has worked ok in my VY and is cheaper than Dynamat. All depends how serious you are about it and how much you want to spend.

The main advantage of Dynamat over the cheaper brands is that it stays put. The cheaper brands have a tendency to peel off in hot/cold weather which is a pita when it peels off inside your door and makes a sticky mess all over the window!

On the floor you should have no issues with flashtac or similar
