    Default Bleeding brakes

Tried bleeding the brakes in my VK but it won't suck any brake fluid down the tubes. I've had all the brake system out, took the master cylinder off the brake booster to clean both up, them put them back 2gether and put them back in. Got brake lines from a wrecker (steel and rubber ones) coz I've lost the originals, and the calipers are off a wreck I stripped the other week.

Everything is done up tight and no visable leaks, but when I pump the pedal, it doesn't even start pushing the fluid down the tubes. I unscrewed the lines from the master cylinder and they were still dry. I swapped the master cylinder and brake booster over (out of another wreck, hasn't been pulled apart), but it's doing the same thing.

    Anyone know wat's going on?

My car's around a mate's place, so 2morrow gonna take our vacuum sucker thing around to see if we can do it with that.....but is there something I don't know about bleeding brakes or wat?

    Nah it's in there.

I can feel air coming out of the hose which is suppose to be connected to the manifold when I press the pedal.

Best you unbolt the m/c and double check its there also check the m/c see if the piston is all the way down and not stuck up the bore . air will move from the booster without the rod being there .
try bleeding the m/c first then the at the bleeders on the calipers could be an air lock in the system

Ahh I thought ya ment the rod which comes out of the booster and connects to the brake pedal.

How do ya bleed the master cylinder?

On the first pump, air bubbles come up through the fluid in the reservoir...then nothing until it sits for a few seconds. The booster and m/c I'm using now worked in the car it come out of.....altho it has been sitting for a few months now.

All done. Used the vacuum gizmo which worked on the driver side, and turns out the passenger side bleeder valve was clogged up with shit lol.
