I got defected last night for eyebrow height, It says on the defect notice that the defect category is minor. does this mean they will only check the eyebrow height, or will it still be a full inspection?
Cheers

sa's dodgey with our cops on this, in my old car i had a dodgey cop defect it. screw up the papers, tick on the box that the inspection carried out was full station check (meaning he was claiming to be regency) and screwed up many other times on the form and just plain made stuff up.
Im the only person i've ever heard of who got a volvo defected.
Ended up having to go to a cop i trust who was baffled as to how this cop was tryna play it.
Oh and for these minor defects the note demanded i went to regency, which was his way of keeping my car off the road and all the screwups and lies werent enough to have them inspect it and remove it outside of regency and charge me the $300.
Had to call in a favour with a cop mate for him to carry out hte inspection and yeah, i didnt get a free ride im wasnt asking for one, had to clean up a few other things and get some other things up to scratch but i didnt have to get subjected to regency who would NEVER pass a car that easily.
I got into some trouble at my last job ended up being assaulted by a guy who was having a bad day decided to take it out on me, didnt hit him back, later he made some threats against me for him being fired, cops told me they couldnt do much about that, but decided they didnt like the guy so decided to ruin his day by defecting his car.
To quote the officer who said this off the record 'Was one of the easiest defects i've carried out, i didnt actually have to get creative with anything, he actually had 38 serious defects'
