Question about Transferring Doc's

I got a question, maybe someone here might know the answer.

Whats the go when selling cars that have had a new dash installed with a lower
odometer reading?

I have got the buyer to sign a letter stating that I have told him that its not the original odo reading.

Im now wondering, do I need to get a letter accompanying my transfer documents stating why the car now has a lower reading then when I bought it? I bought it second hand with 50,000k and now I am selling it with 20,000k?

Do they compare the k's from when I bought it and when I sold it?
