where can i get my hands on a crashed car for parts?

i've been searching around the net and i cant seem to find what im after. i would like to get a crashed car for parts etc, but i am having trouble locating them. is there like an auction a few times a year where they sell them? or is it a case of being at the right place at the right time?

if this doesn't really make sense, its because im still a bit intoxicated from last night

Try Manheim Fowles in Altona. They have a smashed auction every wednesday - I think you can bid online.

ebay prices are becoming a joke. premium prices for a part that is generic but sell it as a GTS part or a Monaro part and charge twice as much.

All I want is a Monaro Bonnet with the flutes, the VZ SS guards with the vents in them thats all.
