Ghostly Compressor
A couple of months ago i had to put some air in my rear tyre so i got out my mini air compressor and plugged it into the cigarette lighter, suddenly the radio came on and the ariel went up but didn't stop when it got to the top it just kept going da da da da then crapped itself and is now stuck in the up position. I didn't have the keys in the ignition .
Last night same deal with my wifes car. Plugged the compressor in and radio came on ,car keys in my pocket. WTF can anyone explain whats going on ?

my guess is the compressor actually has a battery in it, and when you plug it in to the lighter socket, it back feeds through and powers the radio.
happens when i charge my led worklight off the car charger, ends up flattening the battery in the light.
