    Exclamation sunroofs for utes

    hey i was thinking bout putting a sunroof on my ute but not sure if its worth the money and the effort. heres the details...

    ok so heres my ute.
    VR V6 Ute
    130,000kms
    some mods includes, wheels, lowered, 2.5" exhaust cat back system, headers.

    i can pick up a New Sunraker Sunroof kit for $250, its a universal fit, Size: 15" x 30"
    6 Step Multi Positions
    5 mm Security Glass
    E Mark Approved
    Intercepts Excess UV Rays
    Glass is removable
    DIY Instructions included

    im not to sure on whats gotta happen to the roof lining interior either, if anyone has put one in themselves or had it done either in a ute or sedan speek up!

    Its a good price but you need to add the cost of instalation and redoing the roof lining.

    I heard it wasnt legal to install a sunroof in a ute...Anyone know for sure???

    Might just be a S.A thing...

    Complete bullshit. As long as you don't effect the structure of the car, its fine.

    And that can't be an SA only thing anyway, ADRs relate to Aus wide. Holden wouldn't be allowed to fit them from the factory if there was a law against it.

    I think that's a pretty good price, providing you can do most of the install, and maybe customise the roof lining yourself, I would say it would be worth it. It would look pretty cool!

    It's reasonably cheap but the thing is the installation and the lining as they say above. You'd have to research it out.
