Default Opinions on these 2 TOYO tyres?

Anyone had experience with either of the following tyres? I'm looking at getting a set of TOYO's 235/45/17's, choices are between Proxes T1R or Proxes 4

Obviously the T1R's are the higher performance tyre but I don't want something that'll wear too fast.

I can't comment directly on the 2 tyres you have listed, but I have just put a set of TOYO TEO PLUS 235/45/17's on the VX SS, I really don't drive the SS very hard and I find the TOYO's I have to be excellent, the biggest thing I noticed was after going from the Bridgestone B530's was how incredibly quiet they are, and the ride is also a lot better than the Bridgestones I had. I went for the TEO PLUS based on the sort of driving I do, I was more after a long wearing, comfortable touring tyre than an outright performance tyre, the grip on the the Toyo's I have bought seems fine, have had them on for a couple of thousand km now. I would imagine the tyres you have listed would be more expensive than the ones I bought, but I was also on a budget. As a brand I think the Toyo's are good value.

Yeah the person i spoke to said the TOYO's are very quiet due to the silica compound, also meant to help them wear longer whilst offering performance.

News update, i'm looking at getting a set of VE SS wheels 18", they should fit on a VZ no problems after machining?
