I'm assuming you would find it hard to part with such a nice sounding car lol. But you need to think, could you replace it with something similar/better when you come over, or would you even want to part ways with your pride? I'd say it would be pretty expensive to get it shipped over but.

Been lookin at prices for them over there. Mine only got 102000 km and heaps of mods. When i had engine work done ,stroked to 383, LS2 heads/inlet, they qouted a min of 370kw. My toys like my baby, would hate to sell it here for sum young kid to total.

People import cars from Japan and rest of the world but considering you wouldn't have to go through any compliance bullshit etc I would assume it would be rather cheap to just import down. You have 'clearly' spent good money on it and if it's your pride and joy just import it.

whilst this is true half of these japanese imports were never sold as australian delivered were as his model of car was both built here and sold here locally.

if it were a pontiac or chevy you could pretty much get away with it but i think you'll run into a little bit of difficulty.

also if you did bring it here would it pass a roadworthy?

if memory serves correct, you need a RWC every 6 months in NZ for a car older than 5 years, and RWC every year for car newer than 5 years
