    Sounds like bullcrap to me.

No problems here, wrx has been a treat on fuel. Maybe your mrs needs to stop driving so heavy footed? Hilarious a commodore owner saying subaretard...

    Really?

VY Senator, 13.1 Average around town easy driving.

MY09 Wrx Hatch, 9.4 fun driving around town.

Perhaps the new 2.5l engine is a little less thirsty? I know it goes a SHITload better than my big piece of v8 crap

My parents just bought a new Subaru Forester XS Premium, fully loaded. Man, it opened my eyes how good a Subaru is over a piece of shit Holden.

The 2.5l boxer in it kills my 2.0l Suzuki in fuel consumption. On interstate trips, the best I get out of the Suzuki is around 9L/100km. My parents car gets low 7's on interstate trips, and we verified the trip computer reading by counting kms/fuel taken at bowser as well.
