subuies have never been known for great economy, but they sure make up for it in resale!

My parents just bought a new Subaru Forester XS Premium, fully loaded. Man, it opened my eyes how good a Subaru is over a piece of shit Holden.
The 2.5l boxer in it kills my 2.0l Suzuki in fuel consumption. On interstate trips, the best I get out of the Suzuki is around 9L/100km. My parents car gets low 7's on interstate trips, and we verified the trip computer reading by counting kms/fuel taken at bowser as well.
its no wrx, its just a stock impreza. i wouldnt let her get anything with a turbo, she'd kill herself.
I have also same problem but no reply for that I Purchased the new car Audi last month it's uses more petrol as per expectation.I know any new motor uses more petrol still some km.so please help me?
Thanks..
