Air Hammer CAI for 08 VE SV6

hi guys im considering buying this air hammer cold air intake for my ve sv6 just wondering if its a good mod it will be my first and i can get it for 300 any imput would be appreciated

It's a placebo. You might hear a slightly louder induction noise but honestly that's it. I've noticed no improved performance or fuel economy. Save your cash for a super charger, it's the only way to get decent performance out of an Alloytec.

You would be best off getting an exhaust at the same time because honestly with just the CAI you will be thoroughly disappointed with the gains. Feel free to go for it by all means.. but don't expect miracles.

yeh i wasnt expecting to much just thought it would be a good thing to start with but seriously if theres no noticible differance i wont bother

Yep, I've got one. My previous post is from personal experience. Go with a K&N, it's cheaper and does pretty much the same thing.
