Knocking noise after installing adjustable panhard rod

I picked up this second hand pedders adjustable panhard rod yesterday and put it on, I presume it's on the right way. Took it for a drive today and noticed a loud knock whenver I cornered sharply, had a look underneath but couldn't see anything really obvious. Any ideas? I'm also curious to know what it is that is hooked onto the middle of the panhard rod. It looks like a spring that is connected to some sort of cylinder.....

Off of the other side of the threaded bit in the middle isn't it (If I remember correctly, wait for confirmation from wildss)

Hi,

I think the arm attached to the centre of the panhard rod is the brake adjuster to change the amount of braking from the rear when you have a load in the back. When loaded, the back sits down, the spring lever moves up and changes the proportioning valve.

I think the position ofg the bracket on the panhard rod is misaligned and should be directly below the end of the spring arm.

Just a thought.

what condition were the bushes in?

Bushes were in good nick, no cracks or anything. Maybe I just didn't do the nuts up tight enough. I'll have to double check, thanks for going to the trouble of taking the picture mate.

yeah np mate but would yo ubelieve i actually had to find the energy to go out to the driveway, get my phone under the car and push the bloody button!
