    Default Bad Whining Noise

    Hey guys i have a sv6 holden commordore and its has got a bad whining noise when it is accelerating. The noise will go away as soon as you pull your foot off the pedal. Sounds like tranny but im hopping not. Just wondering if anyone else has expreiced this or has any idea what it is.

    Could be the epic turbo/super charger?

    Nah could be a retainer pulley, diff whine, but I believe diff's whine under load and without load.. talishaft?

    Yeah could be any number of things. Trans dont tend to whine to much, unless youve really ****ed it. If it sounds like its comming from the driveline, around the middle to rear of the car I would guess it could be the diff, they often make whining noises. If it sounds like its comming from under the bonet Id look at your belts/pulleys.
