    Default Coilovers

    Hey All,

i was thinking of possibly putting coilovers on my VX SS and i wanted to hear from you guys to see if

    a. Its a worthwhile mod
    b. Its a waste of money if i am not driving on Mt Panorama and put the $$ to something else
    c. Who has them and what they think
    d. What are the worthwhile ones getting eg pedders etc if any at all
    e. Any other info or opinions you may want to add (constructive)

    cheers

    Hyper

I have Pedders Xa installed. They are pretty good so far, mine is very low and the ride quality is really good. I havent tested them out as far as going through the hills yet as i need better rubber

Looking at the K-Mac website they have a thing called 'Coil Jackers' which looks interesting. You just put a socket to the adjuster without jacking the car up and wind the car up or down both front and rear.

I spoke to them about these and they also recommended fitting their camber adjusters at the same time because of the variation in camber you'll get with winding them up and down, which surprised me because they list nothing of the sort on the website.

Seems the website has been poorly maintained for a while, but today it's up and running with all sorts of stuff for all models of Commodores. Welcome to K-MAC, Camber Kits, Caster Kits, Springs, Swaybars. is the site.
