Louder exhuast

G'day boys, I have a vz commodore executive 05 model it's a stock standard engine though have a hurricane exhuast half way. I want It to be louder when on below 2500rpm. Would putting on a growler kit make it louder, does anyone have any cheaper ideas! That want get me defected!
