It doesnt look very flat in the pic? Looks pretty glossy to me , rub it back and re paint it with a quality plastic paint and clear coat

    Polish it with Brasso.

Brasso is a very fine abrasive and works brilliantly to polish painted surfaces. I recently painted the centre stack on my Berlina to get rid of the Dark Tempest. The centre section is painted satin black and the edges and instrument cluster surround are gloss black and the effect is the same as the VZ Calais. The gloss paint straight out of the can was smooth but a llittle dull, but Brasso brought the finish up to the required standard.

You can also use it to polish scratches out of clear plastics like watch lenses.

I thought brasso was only for brass, thus the name brasso

That's what it's made for but it has a wide range of uses. It might sound dumb but it's cheap and works like a treat.

sit the can in a bowl of hot water for a 10 minutes before spraying, go for a 50% overlap wait a few days then cut and polish it.
