Hi everyone,

I bought this used vz reasently. It's time for the oil change. But I found out that the previous owner/ service person has rounded the oil sump drain plug. Pls help out with any tips how to get the thing out. I have a replacement part which I bought from Holden.

Thanks so much

Large pair of vice-grips or a good ol' Stilson (pipe wrench - f the sump design allows the space for them)

I tryed the vise grips but no luck bcos the sump plug is alloy too soft. I will try the pipe wrench, also I rang Lube mobile to come around. C what they will do, they said that it's gonna cost $130.

Thanks for the input mate.

Grab a file and renew bolt to get some purchase.
Or buy one of these. They work.
