Default L67 Extractors same as Ecotec N/A?

Just wondering if extractors that came off an L67 Super 6 will fit straight onto a standard ecotec. I'm 99% sure they will but just wanted to double check.

    Any ideas?

What's HPC lol. I was planning to get them sandblasted, or 'de-rusted' lol and then get them recoated/painted. Is that what you were trying to say?

What sort of paint should/could I use to repaint/recoat them by the way?

HPC Heat Proof Coating, it is a ceramic coating that keeps the heat in the extractors and allows the exhaust to flow better.

Sweet, is there any way I can buy the HPC to be put on? Only reason is, my mate works for a valve company (southern Controls) and he does sandblasting and painting all the time and has offered to do them for me for a slab. So if I can get him to do them, all the better.

No, they are dipped to get the coating on them.

And I got the acronym wrong, HPC is actually a trademarked name, it stands for HiPerCoat. It also stands for High Performance Coatings as that is the company name. More commonly known as ceramic coating.

You would need to use special exhasut heat proof paints.
Ceramic coatings have to be done by the companies themselves as it involves special baking ovens etc.
If you decide to go ceramic they will clean them as part of the cost because even if you supplied them sandblasted they would do it again to safe guard their warranty on the coating.
Also if you decide on ceramic before you get them done do a test fit so that any adjustments can be made before the coating goes on as you can not weld the pipes once they are coated which is one reason the pipes need to be flanged where they meet the rest of the exhaust.

Ah ok, If I sandblast them is it crucial that I get them HPC'd?

I've checked out they're site. HPC High Performance Coatings
They're shop is in Leongatha which is about maybe 130k's away from where I live.

Any other licensed places that can do HPC or equivalent in metro Melbourne?

Anyway; if HPC is a bit out of my league I might just source some Exhaust proof paint as you said and get my mate to paint them for me.

You can post them to HPC and they will send them back, give them a call for a quote.
Whether you get them coated or painted they will need sand and/or soda blasting before.
