    Default noise of ceramic brake pads (whistling)

    Hi

    i had wrote a thread titled with
    more stooping power


    i bought brake pads from carbotech which is fully ceramic front and back
    and my car gained good and strong stopping power with that pads

    but only one bromlem
    i got (whistling) noise during slow down the car from 60 to 10 km/h but when i emergency stop no noise coming

    pads bedded according to the instruction of the supplier
    rotors also cleaned (Turner) from old pads residue

    any one can help how to avoid this noise
    i sent email for the manufacturer agent in my country and waiting his reply
    but i like to know your opinion

    I think your brakes will make noise until they get to their operating temperature. If they are not hot they will make noise.

    I realize that its not making noise when its cold
    but after half an hour of driving it will start noise during slowdown

    These will fix the noise:
    QFM Brake Pads

    If you're after a high performance street/track pad, go the A1RM. It's a Ferodo DS2500 equivalent, so is heaps for any sort of heavy duty or fast street work.
