Hey guys and gals, new member here...
so i picked up my new (well new to me) s vu ute and like any 18 yr old i had to do a burnout, but I started having clutch problems and they are gonna fix it on dealer warranty...
But heres the catch, im pretty sure they will check the tires for scarring and theres one little scar that goes right around the tire, its barely noticeable but its still a scar..
i was just wondering how to wear/fix this one scar on the tire within the next fortnight so they guy doesn't notice it..
cheers in advance..
put it on the front
yeah, i was thinking that but i think the guy is a bit clever with stuff like that..
do you think if i drive around normally for the next week or 2 it will fix it, its only a little scar but its still there
depends on how deep the scar is , borrow a mates matching pair of tyres
cheers, its likw .5mm deep, not deep at all, i was just a bit concerned because hes a really tight bloke so he will go over everything
grab some other wheels mate.. if your in canberra you can borrow a set off me
do more burnouts he won't notice if it all looks the same![]()
Be a man and admit to the bloke that you did a burnout! Why should he pay for the clutch that you stuffed?
This is the reason it's not "cool" to drop burnouts, next it'll be your diff, gearbox, driveshaft, engine....![]()
'Ah well, I suppose it had to come to this.'
Rotfl - let me get this right..... You buy a car, decide to do a skid and in the process trash you clutch and are now trying to **** over the dealer to fix it. You want help to hide the evidence?
How about taking responsibility for your own actions and paying for the repairs yourself???

Closing this...do kids of today have a ****ing brain?
