High Flow Cat - Increase exhaust noise/note?

Hey guys,

Did a search but didnt find an exact answer...

Considering putting in a pair of 4.5" Ballistic 100cpsi Racing Cats...

Will this make the exhaust a little deeper/louder? Or have no effect?

Current exhaust is a twin 2.5" stainless steel system with pacemaker extractors and rear hot dogs. Engine is a 6.3L LS1.

It currently has the standard cats, so thats probably causing a fair bit of restriction...

Those cats will make it louder than the standard ones.

Thanks mate... How much difference do you think it will make? 10% louder? 10% deeper?

They will make it louder and deeper. It will be very noticeable. But hope you don't get a roadside emissions test as they don't comply to EPA emissions standards. The only ones that I know of that do are the 200cpsi Magna Flow cats.
