As the title says, does anyone know how to remove the dipstick tube without remove the sump. Have been having a look an not sure weather its just held in there with a o ring or srewed or what. Im guessing the sump has to come off? FYI its for a return line. Thanks in advance

pretty sure its just an o ring at the sump and a bolt with the exhaust manifold/extractors etc..
no reason you cant send a return line into a rocker cover
even the dipstick hole isnt big enough for turbo drain it needs to be pretty big 19mm or so i thik it is same size as it comes out the turbo or you will blow turbo seals like they are going out of fashion and it must be free draining downhill not pumping uphill.some of the ballbearing garret turbo's can handle going slightly uphill but its not recommended .best bet is drill a new hole in the sump and fit a hosebarb the correct size make sure its above the oil level or it causes the same problems

Thanks mate, because the turbo is going to be above the rocker covers anyway, im thinking about having a very short return line and just linking it straight in, would be an almost vertical drop into the housing. When i finish the manifolds ill see how i go, if i have to drill the sump i might just have to use a very slow rpm greased up drill bit and vacuum so i dont get any swarf dropping in. Have to put a sump magnet on just incase if i head that way.

the sump is alloy on ecotech so the magnet wont grab any of it if it gets in there plymouth drilled his with sump still on with the vacuam cleaner worked great
