I recently bought a new Calais V. Had previously owned a VT (SII) Calais with 260K on it. Brilliant motor car! Small buisness tax incentive meant upgarde time was now. Imagine my surprise when I found out that Holden had "cheapened" the Calais range. Anway I am/was a Cyclist and got hit by a car 12 months ago. Outcome: 24+ fractures and a stuffed left shoulder (more titanium than calcium now). Holden REMOVED the fully powered seat from the Passenger side! OK, so the driver is in there more often, we all know that. This is the top of the tree commodore; and they dumb it down! In my case I cannot adjust the seat without getting out of the car. I tried evrything to get a powered seat. Had to buy the V series just so I ciuld get the power on the drivers seat. That meant I had to have leather as well. All so modular as to be rediculous. The cheap platic handbrake lever is beacsue the car is also for the US market. So I ask if they can source me the American version drivers seat (dealer looks confused and asks why - duh what side of the road do they drive on).

Any help or thoughts would be greatfully received. Anybody got any contacts at Holden that might be useful?
