ok guy im running straight gas on my holden vh commodore 308 just wonder what would i need to do get it to use the original fuel gauge thanks.
p.s i know i have to use a certain ohm resistor i think.
edit also i have a sprint gas tank if that help
ok ive got my gas tank and fuel tank ohm ranges
282 empty and 40 full - fuel tank
0 empty and 90 full - gas tank
what type of wiring setup would i need

call a gas place. they make little module things to convert the gas tank resistance to fuel gauge resistance
ah k thought it could be easy just throw a resistor on there
Well it's not considering that they are opposing resistance's when full and empty you will need the conversion module.
Regardless, LPG senders are not 100% accurate compared to the "normal" sender anyway.. In the past I've always use the "K's" travelled theory any way.
Cheers,
Dave
The LPG tank sender gauges are are available with a variety of resistance values, including 0-90 ohms.
The easy way to get one is to buy one new from one of a number of suppliers of automotive LPG equipment (phone book). I recall them as being expensive. You might also need an LPG fitting licence to purchase gas equipment. You may get away without one for something like the gauge.
Another option is to find one used, off an old tank, at a wrecker.
Some electronics, probably with an opamp, could be contrived to invert and scale the voltage output from the sender but using a gauge sender with the correct resistance will be easier (if more expensive).
