Fairly good, I know some of the 5L's on the forums are getting around 15-16L per 100kms around the city. I presume the LS1's are pretty much the same. But as soon as you put your foot down expect fuel consumption to go through the roof.

my worked EFI 5L gets around 10-10.5L/100km on the highway.
Haven't really measured fuel consumption city cycle though

It comes down to how you drive them and what sort of mods... You dont buy a V8 to save you money.

In my LS1 i get around 22L/100km if i drive gently, up to 40L/100km if really pushing hard. Its not a daily driver, so i really dont mine. I do get sick of filling up though (not so much the cost, just the time and effort).

My LS1 is pretty good. When you drive it normally it will do around 11-12L p 100k around town. On the freeways it drives on a sniff of petrol - and I rarely use 6th gear.

    5 litre.

20-23 L/100km around the city, 11 L/100km strictly highway driving.

The key is the average speed maintained for the duration of the tank. My 20-23 L/100km figure was for an average speed of 30km/hr.

Why not post in the same format everyone else has to compare? You could have a 1000L tank in the tray to get that figure and it still wouldn't be comparable.

15's, 16's and 17's usually per 100 and sometimes not so good....
i prefer to keep any eye on the other gauge with the E and the F
if its near E add more fuel, easy.

should of added it's boosted with 325rwkw's

LS1 VX SS Auto, 60,000km. Stock except for a cat back exhaust. BP Ultimate.
Just came back from a 500km drive, about 400km was highway and maybe 100km around town running, filled up this morning and it took 48 litres of fuel for I think it was 510 km or there abouts, worked it out at around 9.5 litres per 100km for the trip, it is thirstier around town, never worked it out but would estimate maybe around the mid teens.
