What to do if anything?

Hi Guys,

i seem to have lost my car keys for my VX SS, i only noticed this morning on my way to work so i havent as yet done the house search, worst case senario if they are lost what is the best thing to do?

I have a spare so i can drive but i have that uneasy feeling, should i not worry and move on or do i need to ring holden or something? As silly as i sound i have never lost car keys before, any help would be appreciated

You're starting to worry to soon. Sleep on it. You would probably still find it or remember where you left them. I would not worry about it just yet. If after 3 days you don't see them anywhere then take some action.

Depending how far you want to take it. You could either make a copy of your current key so that you have a spare and forget about the old one, or you could go and change all your locks on the car if you feel that somehow if someone finds the key they will know who's car it's from. I don't know the area you live in or the full situation so only you know what's best.

Please dont say you have an RACV tag with your rego on it do you?
Personaly I think they are the bigest mistake to have with your keys. I you lose them and someone picks them up all they have to do is look for the rego and its theirs.
If that is the case I would be getting new locks

nah there is nothing on the keys like that just the car key itself, i think i am worrying more than i should but its just a shit feeling trying to think where i could have lost it or left them

Haha see, all that worrying for nothing I've only had the one car key for my vs for over a year, i should really get a spare sometime lol

I hate the feeling when you can't find your keys though, heart just drops.
