    Default Changing wheels affecting insurance?

    Hi,
I am considering changing the wheels and tyres on my VT, from 205/65 15" to 205/65 16". I have found this set and am looking to buy them.
I realise that this will throw my speedo and odometer out, but I would look to getting them re-callibrated somewhere if this is a possibility?
Also, I checked on the sticker inside the door on my car, and the 205/65 16" combination is not printed there. The smallest combo for a 16" is 215/65. Does this mean that my insurance will be affected as the combination is not printed as a possibility?
Should I reconsider buying these wheels/tyres? Or should I put new rubber on the wheels when I get them?

    Thanks in advance,
    Jack.

just get lower profile tyres and the speedo should be ok.
Your insurance should not be affected but you should always call them and let them know you have them on. Insurnace really only worry about wheels if you go up 2 inches in size or change the width of the tyre.
Even thou you can go above that by law.
    INNAWE (in awe)

Noun 1. awe - an overwhelming feeling of wonder or admiration; "he stared over the edge with a feeling of awe"
    2. awe - a feeling of profound respect for someone or something; "the fear of God"; "the Chinese reverence for the dead"; "the French treat food with gentle reverence"; "his respect for the law bordered on veneration"

Thanks, problem seemingly solved itself anyway; but will remember for next time.
