After you order them how long does it normally take til you can get them?

Bought mine through VicRoads, came in 3 business days, was pretty good, considering they said could be upto 2 weeks

My plates (AFL one's) cost me $495, and were delivered on the Thursday from memory (ordered them Monday night).
I know the most expensive plates, apart from the vintage number-only ones are like 600. You guys are getting ripped bad up there!!

QLD is a once off fee, unlike other states where it is a yearly fee........

Queensland charges throught he roof for certain plates. I think its the mix plates that cost almost 3 grand, and trademarc, it does not include rego, what he means is, some other states charge you a fee each year.

Victoria is a 495 ONCE OFF (for the most expensive apart from the Vintage). We dont have to pay a yearly fee either.

Depends tho, VIC plates look like crap compared to other states. SA custom plates just say SA, no shitty symbol, and no shitty slogan, plus 7 digits

Wow, you guys get it good. ACT charges $473.50 for basic personalised plates (XX-111) and upwards of $4211.50 for full custom plates and we can wait upto 8 weeks.

I pay $255 a year, and i don't see it as a waste of money, just an added cost to rego in my eyes.
